About Us

About the same time we made our French property purchase we were already underway building our family home back in Northern Ireland. We acquired a piece of land in the Galgorm area of Co Antrim, a rural site, part surrounded and part sweeping countryside. We designed and built the house ourselves with the assistance of a much admired local architect to create what we believe is an unique property, with French influence, that matched the needs of our then work and family situation. We couldn’t have been happier with the end result, particularly the antique French terracotta floor, delivered from Marseille, the large open fireplace, now with wood burner, the thick walls,  sliding sash, wooden windows and three sets of patio doors leading out to different terraces where we can at least dream of having some outdoor life and alfresco dining.
